Ideas for sustainable products and processes
How can companies' products and processes be made more sustainable? Four university teams from the fields of IT engineering, computer engineering, product design, digital design, environmental sciences and business administration explored this question together with urban stakeholders and commercial enterprises. The result is four exciting prototypes for a more sustainable future, which will be presented at the Design Zentrum Hamburg on July 10.

About the Cross Innovation Class
The Cross Innovation Class is a format of the Cross Innovation Hub of Hamburg Kreativ Gesellschaft. In the Cross Innovation Class, students from different subject areas meet companies from all sectors and of all sizes. In interdisciplinary teams, they spend a semester developing innovative prototypes. The benefit? Companies get an unbiased, fresh view of the young generation from the outside and work exclusively with potential young talent. Students get to know all phases of product development, gain practical experience and meet potential employers. The methods used include design thinking and foresight.
