HASPA: Supporting customers in the sustainable transformation
HASPA has developed a solution that supports corporate customers in their sustainable transformation.
HASPA has developed a solution that supports corporate customers in their sustainable transformation.

HASPA serves almost every second corporate customer in Hamburg and therefore has a major influence on the sustainable development of small and medium-sized enterprises in the region. In the Cross Innovation Lab, HASPA has faced up to its own responsibility and answered the question of how Hamburg companies can be given a tool that helps them to operate ecologically.
At the beginning of the process, the team conducted various interviews with managing directors to find out where the hurdles lie in the transformation to a climate-neutral company. The realisation was that many managing directors do not know where exactly they should start with such a large topic area.
The result is a digital prototype of HASPA Green Connect. The tool supports the transition to a climate-neutral company in three concrete steps.
The first step involves answering questions about your own company to create a carbon footprint that reflects the current status quo and identifies initial areas for action. On this basis, a personal consultation is held in which specific measures are discussed in more detail. In a third step, the entrepreneur is brought together with a HASPA-certified company that can help implement the measure.
With this low-threshold solution, HASPA supports entrepreneurs in the region towards more sustainable development. The prototype is currently being further developed in HASPA's innovation process.

"By working together with the creative team, we were able to open up our solution space and constantly scrutinise and concretise the approaches with an "outside view". The extremely pleasant and very constructive collaboration gave us a great framework for developing our solution together."
In the Cross Innovation Lab, companies come together in changing constellations over a period of six weeks to work together on product developments in a stimulating environment. Experts from the creative industries are specifically involved in the process.
In the iterative work process, companies develop new products or product adaptations in a significantly reduced amount of time.
With around 5,000 employees, HASPA (Hamburger Sparkasse) is the largest of the five savings banks in Germany. In addition to private customer business with around 190 branches and customer centres, it is also active in corporate customer business.
