Open innovation, co-creation and collaboration - companies in all sectors are facing major challenges in the course of digital change. Three years ago, the Otto Group, a global retail and services group headquartered in Hamburg, launched "Kulturwandel 4.0" (Cultural Change 4.0), which involves introducing new working methods, more collaboration and networking in order to drive forward the opportunities offered by digitalisation in a way that adds value.
"The pop-up office is a unique opportunity for truly interdisciplinary work with incredibly open-minded people who can (and want to) inspire each other. I have taken numerous ideas back into my everyday work, especially for radical changes of perspective and for the quick and pragmatic realisation of topics. In short: a great experiment and a great team experience."
Founded in Germany in 949, today the Otto Group is a globally active retail and services group with around 51,800 employees in 30 major corporate groups and more than 30 countries in Europe, North and South America and Asia. According to preliminary figures, the Otto Group generated revenue of 13.5 billion euros in the 2018/19 financial year (28 February). With online revenue of around 7.7 billion euros, it is one of the world's largest online retailers.
