Cross Innovation Get-Together

At the next Cross Innovation Get-Together, we will once again open our doors in the Mittelbau in the Oberhafenquartier and provide insights into the processes, methods and formats of the Cross Innovation Hub. This time with impulses from the retail company Gebr. Heinemann, which took part in the Cross Innovation Lab in 2025.

What you can expect

Felix Schad (Team Leader Logistics Engineering, Gebr. Heinemann), Joel Florian Beck (Head of Corporate Sustainability, Gebr. Heinemann) and Sebastian Metcalfe (Programme Manager, Cross Innovation Hub) talk about their collaboration as part of the KLIMAready project.

In the Cross Innovation Lab x KLIMAready, the Allermöhe business park was used as an example to test how companies can make CO2 reduction economically viable by jointly utilising energy and resources. A pilot project on energy sharing is currently being tested with several local companies such as Gebr. Heinemann - as a concrete step towards a climate-neutral business park in 2040.

The discussion will focus on specific experiences from the process: How do creative methods affect innovation and transformation work? What changes internally? And what pragmatic recommendations can be derived for companies that want to take a structured approach to innovation work?

In an accompanying exhibition, we take a closer look at methods and processes from our formats. Some of the creatives involved will also be on site and are looking forward to exchanging ideas.

After the discussion including Q&A, there will be a short interaction to join in - before the evening turns into relaxed networking.
